What do you get if you cross a makeup artist with a stand-up comedian? @Jeremythegirl the author of this #prgifted book. Strange combo? Not really. Although Jeremy does contrast her dual profession ‘In beauty we try to conceal your imperfections, while in comedy we try and magnify the flaws’ I think they sound perfectly complimentary: as a makeup artist she must gather some amazing material that she can then use as a comedian. Her anecdotes are hilarious, and although I didn't learn anything new about beauty, I sure as hell had fun. And now I really want Jeremy to do my makeup. Check out the full #bookreview in this week's #freshbeautyfix #beautyblog post BOOK REVIEW: BEAUTY BOOKS WITH A TWIST.
What've you been reading recently? My next instalment of beauty #bookreviews offers a little twist: it’s beauty but not as you know it. From stepping away from unattainable beauty trends to beauty seen through the lens of a stand up comedian, in this week's #freshbeautyfix #beautyblog post BOOK REVIEW: BEAUTY BOOKS WITH A TWIST I review three #prgifted books that offer a different perspective.

Check out the latest #freshbeautyfix #beautyinterview to find out about Camilla's inspiration behind her book #nofilterneeded and how make up can be a positive tool in building confidence.

What is your beauty uniform? I'm all for a bright lip! Fashion designers and politicians are regularly snapped in their fashion uniform, but how does that translate into beauty? What do Karl Lagerfeld, Jenna Lyons, Steve Jobs and Hillary Clinton all have in common? Yes they probably all accumulated quite a lot of wealth, but they have also developed a fashion uniform. The same failsafe approach can be taken with your #beautyroutine: a combination of tips and tricks which make mornings quick and efficient and create a look that becomes part of your signature style. In this week's #freshbeautyfix #beautyblog post MINIMAL EFFORT MAXIMUM IMPACT: YOUR EVERYDAY BEAUTY UNIFORM I share my six time-saving tips that deliver an achievable everyday beauty uniform.
